This week Phoebe and Connor Morgan from Band Together join us on
KCUV Cares. Band Together is an organization founded by two teenagers
who love music and want to make sure that all kids have the opportunity to
play an instrument.
Working together with the Denver Public School's Music Lending Library,
Band Together provides musical instruments to under-served Denver
Schools.
Join Band Together as they raise funds to purchase musical instruments
and collect instrument donations: bandtogether4kids.com
I have to say that this is my first time interviewing teenagers, but it was a
kick! I always say that in my work it's the greatest pleasure to meet
amazing people with a love for helping others, very rare is the chance to
meet teens who take on such challenges - these guys were awesome to
meet and to interview! They came into the studio ready to go and knowing
exactly what they wanted to say. Kudos guys. Big time kudos!
